Travel + Leisure 2021 World’s Best Awards 
September delivered a powerhouse double win as both our resort and our island home, Aruba, received Travel + Leisure 2021 World’s Best Awards. Bucuti & Tara is featured on the coveted list of Travel + Leisure’s 2021 Top 25 Resort Hotels in the Caribbean, Bermuda, and the Bahamas.
Bucuti & Tara is the only Aruba hotel to receive this honor. Joining in the awards, Aruba itself was ranked No. 3 on The Top 25 Islands in the Caribbean, Bermuda, and the Bahamas and No. 18 on The Top 25 Islands in the World.
The annual World’s Best Awards celebrate the greatest islands, hotels, airlines and more, all voted on by the readers. Participants could cast their votes earlier in the year and vote on places they traveled to over the past three years both pre-pandemic and during it.
Travel + Leisure acknowledged the toll COVID-19 took on travel industry, thanking readers for traveling again and encouraging others to return to the world of exploring. The outlet shared, “an excellent hotel can still put a smile on your face, especially when the world feels tumultuous.”
Caribbean hotel winners were heralded by voters for prioritizing privacy and favoring hotels that were either small, spacious, or secluded. Bucuti & Tara has long provided plenty of space, privacy and tranquility for guests at the adults-only resort. The pandemic created the opportunity for the resort to raise social distancing to an art form providing plenty of space amongst the romantic setting for vacationing couples. Condé Nast Traveler 2021 Readers’ Choice Award
Earlier this month, Condé Nast Traveler named Bucuti & Tara to the Top 25 Resorts in The Caribbean Island, and is the only Aruba hotel to make the prestigious list and receive a 2021 Readers’ Choice Award.
More than 800,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers across the globe submitted tens of thousands of ratings and comments, sharing their recent travel experiences of the world’s top hotels, resorts, cities, countries, islands, spas, trains, car rentals, luggage, airlines, airports, and cruises. The results of the 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards demonstrate the travel experiences readers longed for most when they couldn’t travel and decided to do first once they could. This year’s awards reflect the ways the world of travel has begun to welcome back guests. The coveted travel outlet notes that despite the pandemic, travel professionals like Bucuti & Tara continue serving guests to the highest standards.
