TRAVEL INSURANCE:
We highly recommend all guests to protect themselves from losses due to last minute cancellations or no-shows. Because we are a small, independently owned business and are unable to be flexible with policies. For the 2021 seasons, cancellations within 14 days of arrival incur a 100% penalty. Aruba has no last minute walk-in business that would allow rooms to be resold. Please read our policy carefully and consider contacting your insurance agent for travel insurance. Health and Safety Measures
Bucuti & Tara is ISO certified and we follow HACCP standards of operation which have always brought a heightened level of safety and security into our operation for both our guests and our associates alike. We are confident we are operating safely for our guests and associates and will continue to work with WHO, PAHO, CDC and Dutch and Aruban Health Authorities and follow all of their guidelines.

Aruba is a Dutch Island with sophisticated healthcare facilities, professional and expert healthcare experts. As leaders within the tourism community in Aruba, we are fully informed and we have full confidence in the pubic & private sector partnership managing this situation together.
Adults only:
Bucuti is an Adults-Only (18+) resort, and does not accept children 17 and under. Our services are geared primarily to couples on romantic getaways or those looking for peace and quiet. All resorts in Aruba except Bucuti have programs and facilities for children.
We do not accept group bookings to preserve our ambiance
Bucuti is designed for people seeking serenity and romance, and we proactively cultivate an atmosphere that lets peace and relaxation come naturally. We minimize distractions by focusing on our individual guest and therefore do not reserve groups. To maximize your comfort as well as your fellow guests, we will not accept a reservation for more than two rooms, with two people per room. Note, our restaurant will seat maximum four people at a table and we have one table which accommodates 6 and this is only upon request.
No Smoking Policy:
The resort is a non-smoking resort, except for 3 designated areas on property (south garden hut, courtyard garden umbrella, and blue umbrella on beach). All rooms and room balconies are also non-smoking. A fee of $250 USD cleaning charge will be charged to your account if we need to process the room when smoking has occurred during your occupancy. Cigars and pipes are not permitted on property and e-cigarettes are treated as cigarettes.
Cashless Resort
No cash accepted at hotel front desk or restaurant. Concierges do accept cash deposits for bookings of island activities. All major credit cards are accepted.
Minimum Night stay:
We have relaxed our minimum night stays to a 3 nights minimum through December 22, 2021 arrivals.
As of December 23, 2021 arrivals, we have a 4 nights minimum.
You will be informed at the time of booking which minimum stay applies to your dates.
Special Requests and Comments:
Please be informed that we do our utmost to fulfill your requests, but we cannot guarantee room locations or bedding type until day of arrival.

Drones:
The use of drones is restricted on our property, to protect the tranquility, security and privacy for our guests, unless authorized by senior management.
Booking in Advance:
We accept bookings for arrival dates up to a max of 730 days (2 years) ahead of the current date.
