A Beautiful New Chapter Begins

From September 1 through December 22, every room and suite at Bucuti & Tara will be thoughtfully renewed as part of a US$5 million soft goods renovation designed to elevate every moment of your stay.

What to Expect During the Renewal

Now that the renovation is underway, we have learned more about how the work may be experienced by our guests, and we believe it is important to share that information candidly with those staying with us between now and December 22.

We continue to limit the number of rooms being renovated at any one time and are taking every reasonable measure to minimize disruption. Even with these precautions, however, some guests have heard renovation activity from inside their rooms during the day, including occasional drilling, hammering, and installation work. Because the location and nature of the work changes as the renovation progresses, we cannot promise that every guest room will be free from renovation noise during these hours.

Work that creates noise is limited to 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There is no renovation noise planned outside of those hours.

Importantly, the renovation is confined to our guest rooms. The rest of the Bucuti & Tara experience remains unchanged. Eagle Beach remains as peaceful, spacious, and uncrowded as ever, while Elements, Terra by Jeremy Ford, SandBar, Purun Spa, our wellness experiences, beach service, pool, and other resort amenities continue to operate as usual.

Our team closely follows the progress of the renovation each day and does everything reasonably possible to reduce its impact. If you experience a concern during your stay, please let us know. Our team will be here to listen, assist, and do everything we reasonably can to make your time with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We also understand that some guests may prefer to experience Bucuti & Tara after the renovation is complete. If you are scheduled to stay with us during the renovation period and would rather visit at another time, you may reschedule your stay or cancel your reservation for a full refund.
