The dance of the beach umbrellas and lounge chairs
The dance of the beach umbrellas and lounge chairs
As many of you know, we are situated on Aruba?s stunning Eagle Beach, which is designated one of the dream beaches of the world. We take great pride in our location and it is no surprise that most of our guests want to spend the majority of their time on this stretch of powdery white sand. What guests will find on the beach here is an atmosphere that is intimate, peaceful and relaxing, but one thing they won?t find is the dreaded rush to secure an umbrella or palapa for shade.

After providing our names, the dates and the room preference the next question is usually a request for a credit card, which we are then asked to provide at check-in. At Bucuti we have recently changed our policy and since we never want our guests to be surprised when it comes to charges we'd like to take a moment to review our procedures, so you know what to expect.

Having it made in the shade
Having it made in the shade
A main reason Bucuti is one of the most beloved resorts in Aruba is our location on Eagle Beach. The pristine wide stretch of sand has been designated as one of the top beaches in the world attracting visitors from both near and far. While our resort area is reserved exclusively for our guests we cannot deny beach access to anyone, as all beaches here in Aruba are public. Fortunately, we do not have a major issue with crowds coming to our beach, which allows us to maintain a tranquil atmosphere, however there are occasional outside visitors.

Ahead of the the dripping point
Ahead of the the dripping point
In Malcolm Gladwell’s wildly successful book, The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference, the tipping point is described as "that magical moment when an idea, trend or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire". For the hospitality industry such a moment is upon us and it is what industry veteran Ray Burger has playfully referred to as ?The Dripping Point?.
