We notice that many great resorts on Aruba also try to be everything to everybody, hosting families, honeymooners, destination weddings, private parties and conventions all at the same time.
At Bucuti, we do the opposite; we choose to focus solely on travelers who are seeking romance and tranquility. Instead of trying to please everyone visiting Aruba, we specialize in offering an intimate and peaceful environment with privacy and unobtrusive, caring service.
Bucuti & Tara is an adults-only resort, exclusive for guests 18 and older, and this has been our policy for many years. Our guests love the serene atmosphere present throughout the property. Many of our guests come to Bucuti & Tara to celebrate their honeymoon, anniversary, birthday, or to simply enjoy each other’s company in our romantic ambiance. You will find that most of our guests are couples and many return year-after-year to celebrate their love at our peaceful resort. Friends and families with adult children also travel to Bucuti together to enjoy a week of beach and wellness.
We have created a quiet beach environment, with no loud music or watersports to distract our guests from relaxing and enjoying the cooling trade winds and listening to the happy birds and calming waves. We also provide plenty of space between each beach chair and more than enough umbrellas and chairs for our guests to avoid the stress of waking up early to reserve a chair. Our infinity pool is never crowded and guests will not be disturbed by fashion shows, loud music, zumba, bingo games and other activities that take place at other resort pools in Aruba.
Our intimate ambiance is enhanced by the fact that we are a smaller hotel with no long distances between facilities and our staff get to know the guests and their preferences, treating them like family.
Bucuti & Tara does not host groups or weddings and has also restricted our SandBar for exclusive enjoyment of our resort guests. All these decisions are with the sole purpose of enhancing the experience of our guests and protecting the tranquility and intimacy of the resort.
