Getting Around from Bucuti

DOWNTOWN
  • At the Alhambra Casino, turn right to go east.
  • Turn right at the first traffic light.
  • Follow the road, keeping the sea and docks on your right-hand side.
DE PALM PIER
  • At the Alhambra Casino, turn left to go west.
  • Follow the road, keeping the sea and docks on your left-hand side.
  • De Palm Pier is located between the RIU and Hilton hotels.
HIGH-RISE HOTEL AREA
  • At the Alhambra Casino, turn left to go west.
  • Follow the road, keeping the sea and docks on your left-hand side.
  • The first high-rise hotel you’ll see is the Divi Phoenix Resort.
PELICAN PIER
  • At the Alhambra Casino crossing, continue straight toward the hospital.
  • When you reach Highway 1A, turn left.
  • At the first roundabout, go straight.
  • Continue straight through the next traffic light.
  • At the next light, you’ll see both a Wendy’s and McDonald’s—go straight.
  • Pass the Palm Beach Plaza shopping mall on your left.
  • Turn left just after the mall.
  • As the road curves, the Holiday Inn will appear on your right.
  • Park in the Holiday Inn parking lot, and walk through the hotel to the beach.
  • Pelican Pier is located on the Holiday Inn beach.
RED SAIL SPORTS PIER
  • At the Alhambra Casino, turn left to go west.
  • Follow the road, keeping the sea and docks on your left-hand side.
  • The Red Sail Sports Pier is located between the Hyatt Resort and Barcelo Resort.

Dress Code
When leaving the resort, it's recommended you wear a shirt, shorts/skirt or trousers, and shoes. For church visits, respectful attire is required, meaning, no caps, sleeveless shirts, or short shorts/skirts.
