As many of you know, we are situated on Aruba’s stunning Eagle Beach, which is designated one of the dream beaches of the world. We take great pride in our location and it is no surprise that most of our guests want to spend the majority of their time on this stretch of powdery white sand. What guests will find on the beach here is an atmosphere that is intimate, peaceful and relaxing, but one thing they won’t find is the dreaded rush to secure an umbrella or palapa for shade.
Most of us have experienced this issue at least once, whether on a cruise or at a crowded resort. You wake up in the morning and find a beautiful day awaits you on the beach. After collecting your belongings and enjoying a leisurely breakfast, you take a walk down in the hopes of finding the perfect chair to call home for the day. You may have been thinking, “It’s only 9:00 a.m., I’m sure there is plenty of space,” and then you discover a sea of personal items reserving chairs and realize none are available. Once we recognized that this was a concern for our guests, we took a number of steps to resolve the issue.
For starters, our boutique-resort provides an ample number of new oversized umbrellas and chaise lounges, eliminating the need to rush out and reserve chairs, while keeping the beach pleasantly uncluttered. We ask that our guests be courteous to one another and not reserve a space they are not intending on using immediately or for most of the day. In an effort to ensure everyone has an opportunity to secure their preferred lounge chair, we will remove any personal belongings that are placed on the chairs or tables overnight.
Once you are situated in your ideal space, there is no need to get up again unless it’s to take a swim in the crystal blue waters. One of our friendly beach attendants will give you a red pennant with your lounge chair, which should be used to call his or her attention when you are ready to order from the nearby Sand Bar.
Our goal is to create a relaxing experience for you, and we hope that our attention to this matter further illustrates that you not only have a special place in the hearts of our staff, but you also have a special spot of your own on the soft sand.
