New! Intimate weddings live streamed to family and friends back home

Engaged couples whose wedding and honeymoon plans have been in a pandemic holding pattern for more than a year have a new option to say “I do” at our Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort. Couples can now make it official while live streaming the event to friends and family with our resort’s new Livestream Weddingmoon Experience.

On any given day, Bucuti & Tara’s guests hail from any one of 25 countries worldwide. While the return to travel continues growing, coordinating and gathering for larger group travel particularly internationally is still complex.

“Recognizing that love does not always want to wait, our new Livestream Weddingmoon Experience lets couples proceed with their wedding while still including their friends and family wherever they are in the world,” shares Ewald Biemans, Owner/CEO of Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort. “Often for a destination wedding, many who are invited cannot attend, so this new elegant solution lets all of the couple’s family and friends share in their special day.”

Livestream Weddingmoon Experience

Couples can relax into romance and tranquility as their Bucuti & Tara wedding planner handles all the details beginning prior to touching down in Aruba through handling the official paperwork. Couples often opt for both a legal and beach ceremony and the live streaming is available for up to 300 guests.

The legal wedding takes place right in Oranjestad in the historical town hall recognized as one of the most beautiful Caribbean-Aruban mansions. This service includes planning and coordination, local documentation handling and government fees, roundtrip transfers, authentication of the Dutch Marriage Certificate including translation and government fees. The legal wedding total is US $794.

Most couples add on the more elaborate beach ceremony after the civil ceremony. This also includes all planning and coordination, document handling and fees, professional photography, livestreaming to up to 300 guests, the bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere, services of a religious or non-religious officiator, a commemorative beach blessing certificate, decorative arch setting with draping on the beach, and a column and pedestal for the certificate signing. This service begins at US $2,722.

The intersection of idyllic and practical

While our adults-only enclave is known for not hosting wedding groups, we have long provided the idyllic beach destination along Eagle Beach, one of the “Dream Beaches of the World,” and highly personalized, professional service to intimate weddings of up to four people including the happy couple.

On the practical side, the cost savings is huge for both the couple and their guests. Bucuti & Tara’s wedding planner and staff eliminate the stress of a large wedding and let the couple focus on their destination weddingmoon while still including friends and family in the ceremony. Well-wishers even have the opportunity to send a gift to the couple through Bucuti & Tara’s online gift guide including private yacht excursions, remote coastline picnics, beach butler service or the classic – money to help pay for the trip.

Guiltfree Weddingmoon

Couples who’ve already opted for a Bucuti & Tara weddingmoon share that their savings helped payback student loans and save for a home, however, in the past they were left with tremendous guilt by not being able to share their special moment with those closest to them. The new Livestream Weddingmoon Experience lets them have it all. As a bonus, with Bucuti & Tara being the Caribbean’s first and only carbon-neutral resort, many couples also enjoy the fulfillment of knowing their green wedding made for a guiltfree, regenerative travel experience for Mother Earth and others, as well.

For the sixth year in a row, Tripadvisor named the adults-only enclave as the No. 1 Hotel for Romance in the Caribbean. It is also highly praised for its high-tech, hospital-grade COVID-19 safety and health protocols and Aruba is in the top six in the world for highest vaccinations per capita.
