Intimate Wedding on Aruba's "Dream Beach of the World"

November 2006- - Eagle Beach, Aruba - Bucuti Beach Resort's renown 'Dream Beach of the World' was the backdrop for an intimate wedding for visitors from Goteborg, a west coast city in Sweden.

The intimate marriage ceremony took place against the back drop of a setting sun and the isolated Bucuti Beach.

After meeting at a barbecue party thrown by mutual friends in 2003, they found out that they were intended to be each other's blind dates... but were never told about it. The matchmaking was successful and they were engaged two years later on the same date they met in Paris at the romantic "Pont Neuf" the oldest bridge in Paris.

"Our engagement was very romantic and we never dreamed that our wedding could be even more romantic, but it was!" Explains Ms. Anne-Li Karlsson-Drath. "We searched for a romantic beach wedding far away from a rainy autumn in Sweden and in our investigation on the internet for the most romantic beach, we found Bucuti and their Dream Beach of the World. The entire wedding planning was conducted via e-mail between myself and Samantha, Bucuti's wedding planner. She did an outstanding job, especially when calming me while the rain was pouring down... 30 minutes prior to the ceremony... The clouds miraculously opened and a red glow appeared to produce a beautiful evening and beautiful photos"
