Halloween is Green at Bucuti, Aruba's Champions of Environment Preservation
October 31, 2006 - Bucuti Beach Resort - Eagle Beach. Bucuti Beach Resort featuring the Tara Beach Suites and Spa, as part of their ongoing Environmental preservation program, conducts contests each year amongst the entire Bucuti team to see who can produce the most creative recycled crafts.
In addition to their Spring and Christmas contests, Bucuti's green team created a third contest this year for Halloween and challenged associates as well as guests to create recycled Halloween costumes and decorations. Additionally a 'culinary' category was added for soups, pies, roasted seeds and cakes made from the discarded portions of the pumpkin after the traditional carving of the pumpkin for Halloween.
Bucuti's hotel guests were invited to be the judges for the 15 contest entries and all enjoyed the festivities surrounding the event.
"Each recycled crafts contest brings the importance of environmental preservation to the forefront. Conservation and protection of our environment is foremost in our company culture and our entire team takes great pride in being leaders in our industry for our accomplishments".
