Couple from Bermuda travel to Aruba for their dream wedding

July, 2008- Eagle Beach, Aruba - Ms. Kim Gittens and Mr. Ricardo Griffith had the beach wedding of their dreams on Aruba Bucuti Beach Resort's 'pristine powder-white beach.

Over 40 guests traveled from Canada, Bermuda and Barbados to witness both the civil and beach wedding ceremonies of Mr. and Mrs. Griffith.

Kim was born in Canada and Ricardo was born and raised in Bermuda where the couple now both live and work. Kim is the CFO of BDC 2000 Ltd. Which is a holding company for one of Bermuda's leading wholesalers and Bermuda's largest retail chain of pharmacies. Ricardo is a Senior Professional Services Consultant for CCS Group Limited.

The romance began when Ricardo saw Kim passing by a cafe and invited her to breakfast and exchanged phone numbers. That night, Kim and Ricardo went on their first date for a nice romantic Chinese dinner.

When asked why they chose Aruba for their wedding... Mr. Griffith explained: "Kim had always imagined a beautiful wedding on a beach and Aruba has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world! We chose Bucuti because it is the most romantic getaway in Aruba. We absolutely loved the beach wedding. Hats off to Bucuti in providing the romantic beach setting which was exactly like their brochure! Aruba is absolutely amazing; we toured the island and saw many sights and the people we met are very pleasant. The guests at our wedding are thinking about returning to Aruba for their next vacation and we definitely will be returning to celebrate our anniversary!" Mr. and Mrs. Griffith spent a two-week vacation at the Aruba Bucuti Beach Resort and enjoyed their honeymoon in one of Bucuti Beach Resort's posh Tara Beach Suites.
