Bucuti's Best Associates recognized

February 2006- Every month, the Bucuti Beach Resort recognizes team members who have gone beyond the call of duty on the job with a bonus, a hearty thanks and a certificate. Both Guests as well as Bucuti Associates nominate employees for the award “Bucuti’s Best” by filling out nomination cards which are located throughout the resort.

A combined team of management and associates review the nominations to decide who is eligible for the monthly drawing. Bucuti’s Resort Manager, Deborah Dintelman states: “We have a growing number of nominations and it is always the highlight of my month to review the outstanding examples of kindness and compassion our associates have demonstrated towards our guests which is beyond the scope of training. We are very lucky to have a great team of people working with us.”

The theme of the Bucuti’s Beach program is ‘exceeding expectations’. Reasons for recognizing “Bucuti’s Best” nominations have ranged from assisting guests in changing flat tires, to giving computer lessons to co-workers in their spare time, bringing hot tea and lemon to guests who felt ill, providing translation services for guests at the hospital…and much more. This month’s winners are: Ms. Anel Villafana, Mr. Igmar Felida, and Mr. Alfons Linders.
