Bucuti Beach Resort, Aruba host beach wedding for couple from Indiana

September, 2008- Eagle Beach, Aruba - Alexis Pontius and Andrew Jones from Long Beach, Indiana recently had their beach wedding on the Bucuti Beach Resort's 'Dream Beach of the World'. Thirty guests 'travelled to Aruba to witness the couple exchange their wedding vows.

Andrew is the Senior Manager of Publishing for WebYES!!, and Alexis is the Vice President of Lakeshore Foods Corp. The couple met in high school and reconnected during their final year of college. Andrew proposed in Central Park, New York City, with a beautiful ring he personally designed with his jeweler. "It was very romantic, and he had secretly already asked my father for permission and showed him the ring a few weeks prior" Alexis explained.

Andrew's grandparents, parents and siblings have been visiting Aruba for many years. Andrew's parents married Aruba and the island has special memories for the entire family. "We chose the Bucuti because of the beautiful setting, friendly staff, and their experience with beach weddings", expressed the couple. "We loved absolutely everything about getting married in Aruba! The ceremony was just beautiful. Who could ask for a better setting! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their time in Aruba, and had a lovely vacation as well! Our reception at Marandi restaurant was wonderful as well, and all of our guests really enjoyed riding the Banana Bus to get there! Overall the whole experience was just perfect and we are so happy to have started our life together in Aruba! We can't wait to come back for our anniversary!"
